The National Lottery Operator, ITHUBA, has recently learnt of the protest that took place outside a media house in Johannesburg on Wednesday 22 August 2019, in the name of ITHUBA.

ITHUBA firmly distances itself from this incident. The protesters involved were by no means a designated representation of ITHUBA and its brand, nor were the views expressed by protestors those of ITHUBA’s Group CEO and / or the board of directors.

We want to emphasize that ITHUBA follows a structured communication policy and any messaging that we wish to convey, will be publicised according to the terms of this policy, through properly appointed channels and spokespersons.
