After a successful inaugural RAFFLE game launch last year in the National Lottery game category, ITHUBA is excited to announce the Millionaires RAFFLE, which went live on Sunday, 26 March 2017.
ITHUBA had promised Lottery players that it would launch a second RAFFLE game in the second quarter of the year with even better prizes than before, and the Lottery operator is doing just that with the new millionaires RAFFLE.
Breaking the records in South Africa, once again, the game will see 12 winners becoming millionaires in one day. The new RAFFLE game guarantees that 12 lucky jackpot winners will each walk away with R1 million cash all in the same draw. A further 30 second division winners will each win R100 000, with 500 third division winners taking home R10 000 each and a 1 000 division four winners receiving a R1 000 each.
“Ithuba is proud to be launching yet another RAFFLE game for the South African market, and with the success of our Christmas RAFFLE where we sold out all 2 million tickets that were made available, we anticipate that we will sell out sooner than the draw date. We encourage all South Africans to take part in this game which promises much better chances of becoming a millionaire than any other game in our game portfolio”, says Khensani Mabuza, Marketing Manager, ITHUBA.
“At Ithuba, we remain dedicated to renewing games and in the process setting a new benchmark for the South African Lottery,” concluded Mabuza.
The tickets for the RAFFLE game are currently on sale, and only 2 million tickets have been made available, at R20 each. Tickets for the game can be purchased at any National Lottery retailer nationwide and sales will close on 27 May 2017 at 8:30pm with a draw set to take place on the same day at 9:30pm.
RAFFLE is an on-line game that utilises a computerised terminal to record sales and validate prize claims. Players cannot pick their own numbers as all tickets for the RAFFLE are generated through a “Quick Play” system. The ticket number selection is made on a random basis by a random number generator and will be issued in sequential order.
