THE National Lottery’s sports betting game, SPORTSTAKE, has undergone exciting changes that will see players playing for a bigger jackpot.
The changes will see the name of the game change to SPORTSTAKE 13 as it will now feature 13 soccer fixtures as opposed to 12 fixtures. Match lists will still be offered twice a week.There will also be an additional fourth prize division in this game format, players will win by matching 13 out 13 fixtures, 12 out of 13 fixtures, 11 out of 13 fixtures or 10 out of 13 fixtures.
As part of its ongoing mission aimed at reinvigorating the lottery games and bringing about more excitement, ITHUBA is also introducing PROPICK which is a quick play option based on multi-play bets where the system will automatically choose match results on behalf of the player. The new PROPICK feature is an equivalent of a Quick Pick as in other lottery games like LOTTO and PowerBall. When choosing PROPICK, the system will choose fixture outcomes on behalf of the player by making use of intelligent software configuration that considers history of play between teams in a fixtures and random selections.
Changes will also include the introduction of a completely new and full colour bet slip which has been given a new look and feel for the players’ convenience.The changes which will kick in from August 29th, 2016. The changes will also see SPORTSTSTAKE 13 tickets retailing for R2.00.
