A Cape Town man who played PowerBall and PowerBall PLUS hit it lucky with over R40 million on the PowerBall PLUS jackpot on his Nedbank app from last Friday night’s PowerBall PLUS draw number 1405. The draw took place on 12 May 2023. This is the second-highest PowerBall PLUS jackpot that has been won since January 2023. 

The lucky player who found out he had won after receiving a bank notification, says that during the moment he found out that he had won the PowerBall PLUS jackpot, his heart was beating hard, and he had to take a few deep breaths.
